Grip strength/toughness for bar work, especially kipping?

For pullups, toes2bars, etc., my biggest weakness is in the grips---even though my arms are pretty weak too, my grip tends to be a problem in long WODs (arms recover; grip doesn't: by the third round of something like Cindy, I can no longer hold onto the bar). Some of it's strength, some of its just raw pain, especially the latter with kipping.

What are your best tips for getting past this? Thanks!

Farmers carry's with dumbbells or KB's...dead hang from pull up bar...fat bar strict pull ups to name a few.
