Toes cramping during heavy lifts

When I do heavy lifts DL; Squats Back, OH, and front; and Presses the toes on my right foot cramp up. First I though it was my crappy running shoes so I bought shoes with no cushioning (NIke Free) still getting the cramps. I have also tried lifting barefoot and they still cramp. I can easily stretch it out and continue, but it really ruins my concentration. I find myself approaching the lift hoping that I don't cramp instead of focusing on the lift itself.

Wondering if anyone has had similar experience or has any suggestions.

Thanks

Re: Toes cramping during heavy lifts

Is your center of gravity shifting forward (towards your toes)?

Re: Toes cramping during heavy lifts

it does shift forward on my presses—I have been working on that, but not on my dead lifts or squats.
