Thanks for the very positive note, Liana!

Great workout. You should reall convincing about the diet. LOL. A great recipe book is The Eat Clean Diet Cookbook by Tosca Reno.

She hung a rope that had a weight belt looped around the end of it. Picture: a makeshift swing. So she was swinging on the pull-up bar. Sheesh! I didn't have the heart to shoo her away. She was so cute, but I really need to GTG on PUs!
WOD

Three rounds:
800m Run
Jump Rope for 5 min
30 Ring Pull-ups (jumping)

Four rounds:
Walking Lunges (25 steps/leg)
10 Pushups

Blah! Nothing to write home about. Last workout here before heading back to Atlanta in the morning.

Thinking about cleaning up my diet. Maybe, sort of, possibly, perhaps eating kind of Zonish beginning Monday for a few days or so. Do I sound convincing? After eating a la vacation-style for a week, something's gotta give.

Maybe you should've gotten the trainer's little girl to hold on to your waist while you did pullups. Then she would get a swing and you would get weighted pullups!

You sound very convincing about the diet. Maybe there's a "Zone + Wine" option you could follow. Heck, that might even get me to convert to Zone eating!

Hope you had a great vacation!!

Re: A Soccer Mom's Log

V- You and I talked about Tosca's book a while back. I follow her column in Oxygen. Love her!

Jennifer- Zone+Wine= I think Sear's actually considers wine a bad carb, but it's allowable! Not ideal, but okay. LOL!

Back at home sweet home. Vacations are great but I do love my routine (and my pillow). Thought about hitting the gym but 50 MUs? Are you kidding me?

What I really need is a longer (6-7 mi) run. The Peachtree 10K Road Race is in 2 weeks and since I'm a CF Junkie these days, I've not run over 2-3 miles outside in ages. My time goal is always to beat my last year's time. Last year I did it in 46:something. Ugh. That's a 7:30/mile pace for 6.2 miles! I think I can. I think I can, I think I can, I know I can....

We have faith in you, Christin! Do us proud! A few longer runs to grease the groove before the race couldn't hurt though...

We sure did talk about it... I forgot. I'm old.

For the 10K run, I think you can too. You are just that badazz.

Rest Day Social Club Q&As

1) Name a few artists currently on your IPOD, MP3, etc.

2) Occupation?

3) Current height/weight (optional)?

4) A genie pops right out of a bottle when you're just beginning your WOD. He/she grants you one wish, one Crossfit exercise that you will forever be able to complete with the utmost of ease. Name it.

My Answers
1) The White Stripes, Missy Elliott, Eminem, Steve Earle, Mozart, Wilco
2) Stay home Mom (ex-Personal Trainer, ex-CAD/CAM Software Programmer, ex-Math teacher, soon to return to Personal Training)
3) 5'9" 140
4) Muscle ups (although L-sits are close behind)
