For the wod on Sat for the dead lift do you do all the same weight or do you go up with each set? Sorry if this has been answered before.

The easy answer would be "yes" -> all 5 sets of your 5 rep max. But I also think there is a grey area.

I believe it is acceptable to hit that 5RM in the 2nd or 3rd set. I remember some journal article taking a similar approach on the 1-1-1-1-1-1-1 days. But make sure the 1st couple of sets are close to that MAX, and then shoot for a PR. Also, you might not know what your 5RM is, so you might take a few sets to find it.

Another article on CF Strength Bias talked about stopping (like the 3rd set) after you've PR'd that day. The goal accomplished in stopping early is recoverability. Maybe because the program has you deadlifting weekly, they allowed you to stop. But CFSB is another beast seperate from the main site WOD.
