Pulse today was down from 98 to 42

I knew my stamina was drastically better. Knew I have never felt better. Guess the proof is in my "athletic heart."

My average resting HR had been 98 4 months ago, it was 42 today.

I love that after getting the indepth check, the nurses and doctor where like "tell me about this crossfit thing"

Is it crazy that my pulse being down, makes me more excited than the scale being down..... shows that I really am doing my body good!

Not at all, I also celebrate a low RHR. Makes me feel like I'm doing good work and making progress. Then when I have a low HR while exercising at something that normally would have pegged my heart out, I feel even better.

The scale is over rated. Even a simple seamstress measuring tape can tell great stories!

Congrats! It is cool when the Dr. knows your an athlete from looking at your numbers. Sometimes you can get a nurse to get "wide eyed" and go, "wow, I've never seen it that low".

Yeah, the doc said "The gig is up, you are underplaying your "excercise" tell me about it"

Seriously, he was super impressed, told me he could tell I had been working hard and he could tell

I had similar experiance recently during my wisdom tooth extraction, they had to adjust monitoring machine down to 30 as it was giving them alert all the time when low limit was set to 40
