Re: HRV tracking

I recently learned of HRV and became interested as it relates to recovery. The mithelete device and bio force devices are well known but supposedly the Polar H7 HRM is well regarded also. does anyone with the H7 provide feedback? Also interested in any other options too

Re: HRV tracking

There's a Paleo Solution/Robb Wolf podcast episode covering HRV: http://*************/2012/03/06/joel...n-podcast-122/

Re: HRV tracking

Hi Are-Harald Brenne,

Just wanted to make something clear.. The Omegawave Personal already includes two measurement methods from the Pro system, these are HRV and Amplitude-Frequency Analysis of ECG - which provides information on the current state of the user's energy metabolism systems.

Also, a third measurement method which analyzes Direct Current Potentials of the Brain will be available soon for the Personal. This method assesses the functional state of the CNS and the user's overall Readiness for upcoming training loads.

If anybody would like more detail on these methods or the Omegawave conclusions, please feel free to let us know!

The Omegawave Team

Re: HRV tracking

Peter,

If you purchase the Omegawave Personal now, do you get access to the CNS Analysis later?

Re: HRV tracking

Hi Dare,

Thanks for your question!

We will be supporting Windows Phone 8 devices in the future. However, it will take some time until these are available.

Hi Donald,

Thanks for your question!

If you buy the Omegawave Personal now you will get access to the CNS Analysis later, however this will consist of upgrading your package. The upgrade options will be available on our website soon!
