I just got a roman chair / back ext bench. Should I get an Abmat also, or is normal situps and GHD situps good enough? I rotate situps, knees to elbows, hollow rocks and now GHD sit ups in my warmup. Abmat or no?

Thanks,

Joe

With the GHD capping off the other things you mentioned, I say skip the abmat. Build some paralletes if you haven't already and work L-holds and things instead.

I have all of the above and still like the AbMat. It's not too expensive and is a different stimulus then the GHD.

I agree with Larry. I have all the above. The AbMat is also very portable. Easy to pack for trips and carry to the park, etc.
