Moveable squat racks

I need four moveable squat racks for my garage gym. They need to be moveable, so I can keep them in the corner when we are not using them and easily find when we need them.

Moveable squat racks
- Rogue S-1 with wheels, but it is still very heavy (142 lbs)
- Rogue ES-1, still 95 lbs, and I would like some quality squat racks
- Rogue S-4, I do not like that there is not bolt together
- The Again Faster Squat Stand 2.5, only 72 lbs, maybe the best moveable squat rack?

Witch moveable squat racks would you recommend?

i had the s2 with the wheels (so not that much different than the S1) and while it was possible to move, it wasn't easy or quick at all. In contrast, we have the AF stands in our box and they are super easy to move, just pick it up and take it wherever you want to go. i recently sold my S2 and i plan on ordering the AF one as soon as i find a good deal on one.

Re: Moveable squat racks

i have 2 of the s-1's with wheels in my garage and i think they are great. the wheels make a big difference, and while i can still pick it up and just move it around if necessary, my wife can't, so the wheels are especially helpful. if i had a larger space, i would definitely get something with wheels, especially for smaller females and/or kids. also, the rogue stand allows for spotter arms as well, which are a big plus for solo bench sessions. ultimately, every squat stand is moveable, some are just easier to move than others. the s-1 with wheels was easiest for us.

Rogue Y-1 Yoke:

it's a squat rack+ a yoke + a sled (it has skids, it's made to be pushed also) + bumper storage

Re: Moveable squat racks

i had a y-1 yoke, and sold it to replace with an s-1 because the crossbar was always in the way for squatting. also, while it was mobile, it wasn't nearly as easy as the s-1 with wheels. plus, the s-1 is about $140 less.

Like the S-4, why not somethig like this? http://www.xtrainingequipment.com/Sq...FSzNOgodvS8A_A WFS
I've seen plenty of people put up big weight on stands. They are more mobile and collapsible than anything else.

Re: Moveable squat racks

I have the S-4 and they are extremely sturdy. Easy to assemble too and not heavy at all.

Price difference is minimal when you compare and Rogue's stuff is always top notch. I've used off-brand moveable squat racks and they can be extremely scary. I did a WOD at a start-up box recently while out of town and they had these flimsy moveable racks. Anything over 185 and the racks would sway forward and backward - not fun.

Re: Moveable squat racks

Shang, these might be similar to what you experienced: https://christiansfitnessfactory.com...-capacity.html (WFS)

I own these, and the box I coach at uses these as extra racks, and I agree that they may seem flimsy but I guarantee you, they are not. I've loaded well over 400# onto these racks, walked into them with those weights, and they handle it with ease. It's true that they can sway, but I found a very inexpensive solution to that - I purchased tube sand from The Home Depot and simply place the sandbags onto each of the stand's feet. No sway whatsoever.

Anders, the CFF stands (above) are a terrific alternative to larger racks, offering a very small footprint overall. For under $200 you can have a solid piece of equipment which will treat you well and last for a very long time.
