Rogue 28MM Training Bar - looking for reviews

Has anyone had an opportunity to lift on the Rogue 28MM Training Bar yet? Looking to purchase a few of these bars for the gym facility I coach at.
Thanks

I haven't used the Rogue 28mm bar, but I can say that I very much prefer 28mm bars in general to 28.5mm and 29mm bars.

Sorry I can't be of any more help than that; the majority of my barbell usage is with a Pendlay bar and cheap power bars.

I prefer a 28mm bar as well. Pendlay's bushing bar is solid but I'd like to give the Rogue training bar a try, contingent upon reviews.

The Rogue 28MM Training Bar is manufactured in the USA using the same steel shaft and uniform knurl pattern as our Olympic WL Bar. In place of the Oly Barís bearing sleeves, however, the Training Bar is assembled with bronze bushings in the style of the Rogue Ohio Bar.
So just look up the spin of an Ohio bar and voila.

Haven't used one as they are pretty new to market, but I would imagine they are an Ohio bar with Slightly more flex due to the slightly smaller diameter. It looks like it's an excellent all-around bar for the price, leaning slightly more towards Olympic lifts than power lifts (some people prefer a thicker diameter bar for back squats and bench press). I'm sure it will compare very closely to Pendlay's 28mm bushing bar. You can't really go wrong with either.

What other bars are you looking at?

I have a Pendlay bearing bar for personal use. This one will be for a few other's as well. Training is skewed towards Olympic weightlifting.

Aside from the Rogue Training Bar, I'm considering Rep Fitness' Excalibur Bar and Vulcan Strength's Elite Training Bushing Bar.

If you're looking to spend the least amount of money, you can get the Vulcan bar for $255 with the coupon code OWCPART, which expires July 7 I think. I posted this in another thread, but I felt like nobody really hopped on this deal. This is basically the same thing as the Rep Fitness and the GetRx'd premium bars (they're Gymway bars).
