I was recently introduced to the "Beer Mile"

Rounds until failure: Drink a beer Run a mile

Apparently, even the best varsity atheletes succumb in the first 2-3 rounds. Take that Greg A.

This should probably be in Community or Pukie's Bucket, so move as you see fit.

I hate beer. Can I drink a glass of a nice cabernet?

Is a water chaser legal?

This sounds like a great WOD for new year's day, then go home to some black-eyed peas and collards.

Good call Barry, I used to Hash a bit in Boulder, CO. What fun !! Calls to mind my favorite 10k, the Bolder Boulder. Last time I went, about 3 years ago, we walked it with the kids. About mile 5 we cruised through one of the famous student ghettos and spied the famous "Eggs & Kegs" station. Finished the last km with a beer in each hand, all at ~ 9:00 AM.

Back when I was in to running, at least I ran a lot more than I do now, I tried to get into a HHH run. Couldn't find anyone who would get me to a hash. Sounded like fun!
The beer mile would have made Friday's 10K much more "palettable"!

I'd be into it, but the closest active chapter to me appears to be Fort Campbell, and those guys no doubt have a legs/liver combo that would put me in the dust pretty quick. It's also a 3 hour drive.
