Thumbs up Garage Gym

The Garage Gym Junkie

My garage gym is no bigger than a half a car. SERIOUSLY. I have over 1000lbs in plates but they are all metal, hopefull soon I will get some bumpers. I have a power rack which has doubled as a pull up station. I also have three olympic bars(one which is rated for 1200lbs) and an axel. I have a collection of kettlebells ranging from 5lbs to 53lbs, I want an 88 soon. I train someone out my garage so I do a lot of my overhead work outside, because the garage ceiling low. Just like you I do not have a plyo box. I do not have capentry skills so I will not be making one soon, instead I use the tires from the picture, the three of them together are about 25 inches. My ghd is truly a back extention but it works for $60 I got it for. Things I hope to get are a log, another axel, yoke(I have a sled but it is only good for pulling), bumpers, atlas stones. I built my gym over the summer and it is still growing. Others things I have are bands, many cable atachments, adjustable dumbbell handles, perfect pushups, a few abmats, two slam balls(light weight), mini fridge, broken treadmill, extra mats, squat stands, the list goes on and on.
