Constantly Varied WOD times

In reference to the 'constantly varied' aspect of CrossFit, should we mix up what time we do our WOD's during the day?

I'm a usual at the 6AM workouts and we had this topic come up this morning. Does working out at the same time hinder your growth and put you in a plateau? I wanted to get some other opinions on this subject. Thanks!

No. Having said that though, some people perform better at different times of the day.

Funny, at our cert they suggested bringing variance to many variables including what time you train. The concept being that you want to expose yourself to as many different scenarios so that when challenged in life you can handle the "unknown."

Now, is this a key variable that is going to bring you the best results? No. I think you'd be better off spending much more time focusing on the key components of fitness--focus on the big things, and then maybe down the road little things will be more important.

Big things--sleep, nutrition, strength, mobility, metcon capacity (not in any particular order).
