J.J.'s Cross Fit Log

First week of cross fit records:

Tues- 081111
Fight Gone Bad

Three rounds of:
Wall-ball, 20 pound ball, 10 ft target (Reps)
Sumo deadlift high-pull, 75 pounds (Reps)
Box Jump, 20" box (Reps)
Push-press, 75 pounds (Reps)
Row (Calories)

--- Did 5 rounds, wall ball was 10 lbs, used 95 lbs instead of 75. Rowed to 105 calories in 5 min tostart w/o and 100 calories in 5 min 30 sec to end w/o

Too gassed to count any reps.

Wed 081112
Rest Day- w/o instead

Five rounds for time of:
25 Inverted Burpees
25 Pull-ups
25 Burpees

1 round 25 reps all exercises, last 4 rounds only 10 reps did not record time


Thurs 081113
Combined 1-1-1-1-1-1-1 Power Clean 245, 255, 265, 275, 275, 275, 275
from Sun 081109 Wod

With

For time:
100 Squats
5 Muscle-ups
75 Squats
10 Muscle-ups
50 Squats
15 Muscle-ups
25 Squats
20 Muscle-ups

only did 100 total squats and subsituted dips and pull ups for muscleups at gym.

Fri 081114
Five rounds for time of:
95 pound Hang Power Snatch, 15 reps
Run 400 meters

Time- 24 min 32 sec.

Time walking from rack to treadmill killed me, next time i will run between stations. Also, use heavier weight on snatch next time.

Sat 081115
Back Squat 5-5-5-5-5 reps

275, 275, 295, 315, 335.

start heavier next time. Felt good after last set.

also, jump roped for 3x3min rounds


Sun 081116
Rest Day

Rode DH MTB,
Ate cupcakes and Drank beer.

Looking Forward to Another Crossfit Week! Worried about losing mass though.

Three rounds for time:
Run 400 meters
1 1/2 pood Kettlebell X 21 swings (or 55 pound dumbbell swing)
12 Pull-ups

Time: 14.54

Notes: Used 2 pood kb, need to do treadmill faster- incline 5 and speed 11 was good. Wasted time between swings and pullups b/c of distance from treadmill and people on the pullup bar.

Also:

3x5 Bench-225
3x5 DL 225

All 3 sets really easy. Go heavier next time.
