I don't have a glut/ham at home. Is laying on your stomach with your hands by your side and bringing your chest up and your feet a good sub or even a superman?

While the moment arm/resistance curve is different, I sub stiff-legged DLs with a 53# KB for back extensions, did that in today's WOD. I'm close to moving up to the 70# KB as I did all sets of 50 unbroken today.

I'm not a big fan of the on-the-floor hyperextension exercises. Good mornings would be another possible substitute.

What about using the abmat for this, they show an exercise that looks like a back extension.

I used to lay across a bench and have my partner push down on my feet. Not perfect, but I could go below the level of my hips and above. A crude GHD of sorts. I heard you can do a similar thing on a ball. If your man enough to be seen on a ball that is :-)
