help for the new guy!

hi everyone. Im new to crossfit but am aware of various aspects and basic idea of the training... i keep seeing certain words on the forum and cant really figure out what they mean. I feel stupid to ask and hate to be "that guy" but can someone explain what the following means:

zone? affiliate? blocks?

or maybe just show me the thread where thats better explained?

sorry!

Re: help for the new guy!

All of those subjects have to do with the Zone diet. A block is a simplified way to calculate your protein, carbs, and fat to keep a ratio of 40% carbs, 30% protein, and 30% fat. For more read Mastering the Zone, or Enter the Zone by Barry Sears. Also read the FAQ's and watch the lecture clips with Greg Glassman. That should keep you busy for awhile. And in my opinion it works best following the main page wod, and doing it as RX'd. Based on your height to weight ratio it seems you should be able to.
