Cardio for, Jiu Jitsu training

Just looking for opinions on exercises for improving cardio towards Jiu Jitsu, MMA style training.
I personally have found sprint strides, and that type of training to really help me when grappling etc.
Wondering if anyone had any other methods that worked well for them.

I have starting to do these as well, but was looking for a few other ideas that people had on here possibly, aside from the WOD.

Yes I am a Renzo student.

Yes, my friend is starting a school here in DC. We just had Holles Gracie come down for a session. I have found that CrossFit is really good for BJJ. Supplement it with rowing sprints, rope climbs, and high rep KB sets.

Appreciate the info.

It's Rolles Gracie, just there R's are pronounced as H's. FYI

I will keep working on the cardio aspect, and for sure be getting a lot more info from this site/forum.
Thank you for your help

Of course you are right with the spelling, so I have to go back and edit. keep posting on here, and read all the "starting" and "FAQ" stuff. you'll learn a lot.

Don't take this the wrong way, but you came to CrossFit looking for a way to get in shape ... everyone here does CrossFit ... what exactly did you expect us to say?

Seriously though, if you hit the WOD hard and consistently, your conditioning will go through the roof.

LOL Very true. I posted in this section, I guess for other ideas aside from WOD, which is obvious to me at this point.
But, I will have to start fitting in the WOD, and working in the other routines as well.
thanx for everyones time.
