I've often wondered how much work and energy are involved in Crossfit workouts. How many calories do I burn? How many joules of work do I perform? How long could I light my house with the amount of effort I put forth during Linda? Anyone want to try to make some estimates?

This may do the trick, provided by the helpful folks at Crossfit NorCal ... by the way, as long as you're there you might as well subscribe to the Performance Menu ... it's great stuff!

That link is perfect for a "Linda"! Funny how smoked I was after the WOD, then I found out I only put out 0.08 horsepower for my 43 minute effort...(sounds better as 116,855.7 ft-lbs!)
