Look back on my log, only a page or so, there's a video of him at the regionals.
Sounds great. I will have a look now.

I found the OH walking lunges and second run the worst, wall climbs are great as others seem to really hurt more on them.

30 May 2012

Power Cleans

55k x 3
75k x 3
85k x 3
90k x 3
95k x 3
100k x 2
100k x 2 all reps done touch n go.

Best ever power cleans, feel like doing loads of hang cleans and getting full hip ext has really helped.

11 minute amrap:

12 Box Jumps 24"
10 Push ups
8 Pull ups - 10 rounds, 6 reps

Had 9+22 to beat so good target then Matt Nichols went 10 reps ahead of me, just kept going unbroken all the way and overtook then went a round plus ahead. Everything is feeling right good this week.

Max Plank - 4 minutes

Not the curse that makes your legs and arms not work together, that gets me a lot!! Just hit the CF warm up pull ups everyday, I definately need to, the BF is getting there but still needs plenty of drilling.

Re: A Bears Tale

Yes that exact curse haha! Ended up not being able to butterfly or kip!

I'm thinking a few round of cindy in my warm up every day.

Been there, end up using the old strict pull up, nice.

Sounds good, at least with the Cindy method your practising using the BF in a metcon rather than just doing sets of however many.

Re: A Bears Tale

31 May 2012

Shoulder Press

45k x 3
55k x 3
65k x 3
66k x 3

Shoulder Press is rubbish, need to build it.

3 rounds for time:

15 Squat Cleans 60k
10 HSPU - 9.04

Really harsh, squat cleans murdered the hspu.

Finisher:

Run 800m
1 min rest
Run 400m
1 min rest
30 Toes to bar - 7.35

Well toes to bar is the first thing thats felt easy tonight, 23/7

Re: A Bears Tale

Good job there Scott, squat cleans in a workout are slow work.
