Re: Kipping at Por.Pramuk

Good to see that they're kipping, but on most of the reps the chin was not clearing the bar and they weren't going to full extension. Crossfit has really made me a stickler for perfect form. Oh well, the guys on the vid appear to be in great shape though. Good stuff.

Re: Kipping at Por.Pramuk

Man, check out Buakaw..............he is in shape eh?

When was this video made? He looks a little younger maybe?

How did you like the Por Pramuk gym? I have trained at a few places in Thailand, but I want to see more gyms. I was thinking either the Fairtex, Kaewsamrit, or Por Pramuk.

CAn you recommend? I will be headed to Thailand in two weeks mate.

Nathan

Re: Kipping at Por.Pramuk

I have been to Kaewsamrit, Sor.Vorapin, Fairtex Pattaya, and Sinbi in Phuket.

Keawsamrit was great, Sor.Vorapin was crap, Fairtex Pattaya had great training but the nightlife crowd was way too much, and Sinbi was the best balance between them all.

At Sinbi you are about 1/2 hour away from the smut, 2 minutes from the beach, great training/trainers, clean air, and great facilities.

Re: Kipping at Por.Pramuk

Well, as it turns out I will be working in Chon Buri, so not a far drive to Pattaya and Bangkok. I am thinking of making the Fairtex Bangplee (Go Kaew!) camp, or the Kaewsamrit (because I want to meet Anuwat). How far is Kaewsamrit from Chon Buri?

What do you think of Sityodtong camp?

I am at the Residence Garden hotel on Thapparit street, and I think the Fairtex and Sityodtong camps are not too far away. Any advice on the area? I am not too keen on the nightlife, just the training really. Plan to make a trip to Lumpini to see some fights as well.............

Any advice mate?

Thanks,
Nathan
