I've always been a big fan of his...and while actually looking for something else came across this great interview and it sums up what he is all about pretty nicely. For those that have never heard of him, he's been around for a long time and a strong advocator of a health mind and body, big into organics and getting digestion working properly. I once heard him in person for 8 hours...and basically it was all a blur of stuff I could only absorb 5% of. Smart smart man.

t-nation link...so "maybe" not work or family safe just cause of where it comes from. Clean article however.

Chek is a very smart man and widely read. His library alone is quite impressive. He's a little enamored of toys and gadgets in my opinion, but he is certainly a worthwhile resource and should never be taken lightly.

There is a lot of amazing content in this review! I think his nutrition ideas are spot on, but I'm not studied in the area. I just know that my immune system is world class when I'm drinking as much water and eating at least moderatly healthy.

Yep...I agree Joe, comments are ammusing if not scary how stupid some people are. I was shocked to see Paul Chek on T-nation. Here's a guy that can outlift all those people commenting easily (he has a 160lb DB snatch in a picture...), has incredible stability with heavy loads, trains pro athletes...and yet people will not listen to him because he is not a bodybuilder.

LOL, I'm not pointing this out to be an @ss, Mike, but I thought it was funny that you said it's a "clean article," and upon skimming the first four paragraphs I hit at least four cusswords.

Guess everybody's got a different "filter."

Mike, at least the people on CrossFit's board are more accepting of different ideas and methodologies.

Ah yes, article clean, comments "Nope"...that's why I said t-nation link probably not work safe....pretty much implied I think if you say T-Nation link. Chek doesn't swear...just talks for hours about why your liver is preventing you from benching 400lbs or something like that...very smart man...lots of interesting methods...I can only absorb a small % of what he knows if I am lucky. I remember the in person seminar he went off tangent about clinics in Sweeden..Finland..somewhere...that he could attach weights to a woman's....well...place...and train her to engage her abdominal wall through "kegel" contractions....crazy stuff.

Joe, that's why I am here! I learn every day too.
