400m metcons

I think my old training buddy and I are going to start doing 400m workouts on Saturdays. I've seen some recently like the 400m and burpees, 400m and thrusters, does anyone have a good list of 400m mixes out there? I saw a bodyweight summary recently and I was curious if there was something like that.

What are your goals? Are you trying to improve your 400m time or just add more WODs with 400m runs?

Re: 400m metcons

Just to get into better shape. I really beat myself up over the past 10 years and right now I just want to maintain some decent lifts while staying lean and being healthy. I like track work, and I like the 400m and lifts/events mixes, I just haven't been on this site long enough to have seen a good number of them.

I mainly want to have a Saturday WOD that has 400m runs in it to make a long answer short.

How about an old classic?

8x400, 2 minutes rest between intervals. Slowest lap is the score.

This was posted three threads down. Great resource for running wods- plenty have 400m in them.

Don't forget you may really love track stuff but try to focus on a weakness too

Currently conditioning is my weakness, that's why I'm wanting to do this as a routine workout. My lifts are more than fine, my wind isn't though.

10 rounds of 800/25 squats in 38:40 is pretty impressive.

Re: 400m metcons

800m repeats are gnarly, good work. That reminds me of some of my high school track workouts. BRUTAL. I think I would die if tried that right now haha
