Day-in & day-out - great performances.(I don't even come close!)

Either of you ever try boxing/kickboxing?
(you'd whup everyone's a$S in a most sportsman-like manner...)

Hi Sonia,
thanks for the kind words - I can't hold a candle to Kelly though!

No boxing or kickboxing for me; as close as I come is a lot of quality time spent with my speed bag!

Thanks Sonia - but I give this round to Lynne. I'm a natural klutz and very nearsighted; I would probably miss the target and manage to hit myself and break another bodypart!

Yep, tons of respect to both of you gals! You're an absolute inspiration. Lynne, I totally forgot you were also on the line when I called the show last night, but I have to thank you for all the work you put into this place! Keep it up, and if you ever need any help, don't hesitate to ask!

Trainer 1: "If you can dance, you can box..."

Trainer 2: "Don't have to be able to see in order to fight..."
(Clarification:if you can see a moving fist 2-3 feet away from you, you're fine...)

Slightly off subjuct, but had the opportunity to meet Kelly this past weekend with the Chicago group. She is the real deal and very humble about it. Thanks for taking the time to share your experience.

i once knew a guy who couldn't see 12" when he took off his glasses, but had refined his skill to the point that he could react to anything once it got within 12"; i also used to know a guy who was about 6'9" and the biggest clutz you'd ever want to meet. there was a step in the door jam where we used to train that everyone tripped on their first time coming into class. cleve tripped on it for two straight semesters-he busted my nose worse than it'd been busted in several years. i also have a good story about getting my butt kicked by a man with a wooden leg, but i'll save that one for later. point being i've seen your wod videos-you'd be a killer kickboxer.

Reminds me of...

"If you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball."
