Durability of Pendlay V2 Bumpers

I'm considering buying a 140lb set of Pendlay Econ v2 Bumper plates ( set of 45's and 25's) and was wondering how durable you think they are. I'll just be using them in my garage for olympic lifts mainly. How long will they/have they lasted for you? I've researched all of the bounce and price/pound and all that jazz but just wanted to know how durable they will be from someone who has them. Thanks!

Re: Durability of Pendlay V2 Bumpers

Seth, mine have lasted great at about 2 years of use. Many people on here have used them for several years with no problems. Ive used mine to stack on stuff, set stuff on top of them to rig up a box jump, even used them on asphalt a time or two and for farmer carries in my neighborhood.

For the price/durability for an individual in a garage gym setting, they should last for years and are the way to go IMO. Go for it man!

Re: Durability of Pendlay V2 Bumpers

I have had my V2s since November and have no complaints. I occasionally lift on asphalt but typically am on mats.

I love my 160# set. I'll be getting more in the near future

Re: Durability of Pendlay V2 Bumpers

i purchased two used sets of 45s off craigslist a few months back and have been using them 3-5 times a week. i am completely satisfied with them and do no regret the purchase at all. i especially like their low bounce when dropping from overhead. so far i have nothing negative to say about them
