I don't see this being a close match. Dominant and one sided... Did you guys see this in the article though?

" EliteXC champions will be offered the opportunity to fight for Strikeforce titles (i.e. Josh Thomson vs. KJ Noons, Cung Le vs. Robbie Lawler), hopefully within the year. "

I am excited for the possibility of seeing these fights!

Yeah, those would be great match ups.

This match up however is crazy. Diaz is a tiny 170 and Shamrock will have 20 pounds on him when it's fight time. Shamrock by manhandling...

Re: Shamrock vs Diaz

Never mind the size advantage, by my estimation Shamrock is just a better over all fighter.

Re: Shamrock vs Diaz

Well I know Nick gets up over 190, and I've heard that Frank only walks around at 200...but yeah, I see what everybody is saying though strength-wise. I like them both, but I'll be cheering for Nick's punk-***. He is one of only I believe 2 people to have a Cesar Gracie black belt, and has good boxing. Wishful thinking I suppose, haha.

(p.s. Hey Celio, I figured that was you on the main page, I haven't seen many on here with your name, haha. Awesome pic man.)

I could've sworn Cung Le was done. I remember him saying it'd take a ton of money for him to come back and fight.

Re: Shamrock vs Diaz

Thanks Steven, I like yours too. Man, are you sure Nick gets up to 190? He seems so little even for 170. I've seen him and the dude is tiny. In any case, Shamrock is a definately a superior fighter and with the weight & size on his side he 'll manhandle Nick...
