Jason's Starting Strength Log

11/10

Squat: 5 X 3 @ 225
Press: 5 X 3 @ 102.5
Rack Pull: 5 @ 300

Rack pull in place of power clean last night because I accidentally hurt my right wrist ... while stretching it ...

Vanessa,

I was doing my version of Greg Everett's goofy but awesome rolling wrist warmup (http://www.performancemenu.com/wod/v...micWarm-up.mov) and I think I just turned it a little too hard. Of course, it doesn't help that I have really reall tiny girly wrist ...

I'm just working out at home at the moment. I was actually thinking about trying to go to GSX since my best friend lives only 5 minutes from the place. How do you like it? How long is your "commute"?

Power Snatch: 3 X 5 @ 100

Diet: GOMAD & Three large meals a day
Bodyweight: I have no idea ... when I started SS in October, it was around 160 ... so let's just say 160+++

LOL at tiny girly wrist!

I love GSX. Great staff and a really great environment to workout in. I live in FW now so it takes me about 10 minutes to get there. I'm not sure how far it would be for you. But, it would be worth a visit for sure.

I was supposed to squat, bench, deadlift but I blew it off ... went to SPCA and adopted a puppy!

Boy, I really hate benching. Anybody who like benching is a dork ...

I have decided to name my dog Obie. He has HUGE PAWS for a 8 weeks old puppy. I think when he grows up, his CFT is going to be through the roof (and he will probably be able to bench a ton too!)

Not sure what happened tonight with the press. I was only able to get 3 reps with 107.5. Even the warm up sets felt heavy. Major huffing and puffing going on there ... unfortunately, to no avail.
