Okay, I have a HUGE sweet tooth. I always have and it has been my nemisis. Whenever I have had success on the Zone or other meal and exercise plans there was the inevitable lapse into sugar binges that left me unmotivated and feeling terrible about myself.

NO MORE! I have been doing really well with my food choices lately (Zone/Paleo plan) and am seeing great progress. Easter Chocolate will not defeat me this year.

So, I have a challenge for anyone interested in joining me. Despite all of the Easter chocolate and goodies you'll have access to this weekend, don't do it. Avoid the white devil (sugar) and feel good about yourself.

If you take this challenge be aware that there is a consequence to giving in and eating sugar - 500 squats for time!

So, if you're up for joining me in a sugar free weekend, feel free to add your name to this thread.

If not, you can enjoy the sweet nectar of the gods for me... and I'll enjoy the feeling of healthy success. :-)

Jason

This should help. Chocolate has cockroaches.

I'm with you there. I looooove chocolate. Not just any chocolate, though - it's the expensive gourmet stuff they sell at Hotel Chocolat that rings all my bells.
But, actually, I've been good and haven't ordered any eggs from them, so I'll take you up on the challenge.

One time I sat down and ate an entire bucket of cadbury cremed filled chocolate eggs. It was well over a pound of those little suckers.

Needless to say...I'm with you on this one!

Well for me its not Easter choc. I am in a hotel for Passover for the week. There is so much food galore but hardly any that I will eat due to all the sauces, crappy oils, sweeteners and potatoes in everything! Cake, marshmallows, chips, fruit, egg and tuna salad along with vegie salads of some tyoe at buffets. Well--I dont eat mayo, too much sugar in fruits so basically no protein to speak of. i am going crazy but not going to cave in! Sit down meals are OK--I just order plain boiled or grilled chicken with steamed veggies.

God do ppl eat a lot!

Whoah, Alex, how were you not sick?
I remember (back in my darker days, heh heh) eating a pound of pick and mix at the cinema. When I came out I was high as a kite! Sweating, heart racing, light headed...I won't go near pick and mix now.

Cal - I ate the bucket over a few hours. And yes, I was sick afterwards. Unfortunately, I couldn't get fat even if I wanted to.
