Cholesterol is amazing! Eating exorbitant amounts though, is not. Personally, Jamie, I'd rather risk eating processed grains than cardiovascular disease. But then again, that's just me.

Obviously they're not mutually exclusive, though, I would wager that there is a stronger correlation between heart disease and consuming high cholesterol-ridden foods than cholesterol and eating grains.

Let's not digress: I think you're a wealth of knowledge, and you probably know more about this than me. However, I merely wanted people's opinions on pizza.

Because wagering over the internet bears any significance: I shall bet my pride.
Let's make this completely clear: we aren't talking about eating organic foods or local-grown--because the majority of people do not eat foods from that category.

In foods that are mass-produced, I'll bet you there's a lot higher of a risk in eating cholesterol-ridden products than processed foods containing gluten.

Define your 'cholesterol-ridden' products.

p.s. By the way, you keep getting up on the soapbox and making statements like this, and we're going to want to see some proof. Links. Research. What-have-you.

Re: Pizza ?

Richard,

The only goals for which eating pizza is appropiate is weight gain (see Dave Tates article on eating big). For that it's great. The first post doesn't have that feel to it, if you are trying to gain weight, you rarely ask if something is "ok" to eat; anything that will hold still longer enough for you to bite it is fair game.
