crossfit exercises.wod's for mountain/rock climbing trip this summer

I'm planning a mountain/rock climbing trip this summer in New Hampshire and was wondering what crossfit exercises/ wod's would best get me ready for this trip. One note I have done mountain climbing in the past but this will be my first time trying rock climbing.

Pullups (lots of pullups) with various grips (fingers, staggered, deadhang, weighted, kipping, and especially with a towel)
Pinch grip exercises. ex: Pinch grip a 45 lb plate
Farmer's walks for grip
Rope climbs
Rope pulls if you have access to something you can pull with a rope

And the most important exercise for rock climbing is

MORE ROCK CLIMBING!

I will be going to the valley for a month late summer or early fall. I am getting as much strength training in before I go because I won't see a barbell while I am there. Good advice on the pullups. Do lots of pullups and pinch work. If you are going to be climbing crack then you will be glad you did.

just do the normal crossfit mainstie wods and add some rock climbing into it in substitute of one of the workouts each week. I work at a rock climbing gym as a trainer so let me know what else.

+ 1 on the above suggestions.

Also, I suggest you buy a hangboard and sub in some work on that within your crossfit workouts, or perhaps treat it as a warmup or skill work item. I had a metoleus one in highschool when I was doing a lot of sport climbing and it really helped. Also, depending on what climbing you are doing, it might help to do step-ups or lunges as rockclimbing is not all upper body. The more work you can do with your legs the better.

I lived in Jackson for 5 years and I am kicking myself for not knowing about these guys not that I could afford them, it was hard enough trying to live there and buy the ski pass.

Has any one done the mountain athlete workout before. I see the site charges $25 a month to see the workouts now. If any one on here that does mountain athlete could list a few of the workouts I could see if it is worth the money.

Don't get a hangboard. You'll injure yourself. Wait at least a year- maybe two or three. There is no need for a beginner to "train" for climbing. Many (most?) pros don't actually "train" they just climb a lot and refine their technique

Climb 3 non-consecutive days a week. Enjoy it. Climbing is 10% mental and 90% footwork. No need to make it more complicated
