Re: Sandbag recommendations

Cheap army dufflebag with sand in heavy duty trash bags shaped like tubes then wrapped in duct tape. make half the tubes #10 and half #5 that way you can adjust easy.

Bruteforce sandbags are great. Me and my wife both have them and they feel great. I dont think you can break them if you tried and ive tried a few and these are of way better quality. The handles arent rubber witch is nice

Re: Sandbag recommendations

I have the large Rogue sandbag, and I find them great quality, heavy duty. I only bought the bag, no filler bag. Had some oval swiss ball laying around-same lenght as the bag. Filled 3 up with various weight of sand. Love it,works perfect!

I have the Rogue large bag, for about 1.5 year. Highly recommend it!

If you want to save money, buy any tough duffle bag and use rubber mulch from a home supple store rather than sand.

The rubber mulch is one of best things I have done in my gym.
You don't have to, Spend a lot of money on buying sandbags, Worry about inner bladders rupturing when the bags are dropped, Spend a million hours trying to rig closure systems that can keep sand from leaking out, Spend time cleaning up sand, Have a sandbag that weigh a ton and is relatively small, etc.

We have 4 sandbags that I did this way 3 years ago. They are still all 100%. The rubber can't really break down, doesn't leak out (I just zip tied the ends and covered the ties with duct tape, the weight shifts around way more than, say, a 40 lb bag with 4 ten pound sandbags inside, is way more durable than sandbags, less expensive, and the bags are good sized without weighing a ton.

I could get rubber mulch for about $6 for 15 lbs so the price is way better than commercial sandbags.
