I've seen this advertised before in magazines but just had to check it out for myself on the net. The link is work/family safe, it is for the ROM (Range of Motion) Time Machine, where you can get a great workout in only 4 minutes a day(and $14,615!).

I bet the price would drop if they could sell more than 6 per year.

How do I attach my pullup bar to it?

Maybe I can drag it around my yard on a sled to strengthen my quads, hams, glutes and calves or do some tire flip type exercises with it.

All kidding aside, the price alone is definately not worth it. And it would very quickly become a very expensive coat or laundry rack.

Hey, I could paint it red, throw a few plastic reindeer in front, string up some Christmas lights and I would have a great nifty little yard decoration just in time for the holiday season.

Seasons Greetings!

The concept is interesting but let's face it, anyone who's willing to workout as hard as they can for four minutes doesn't need a $14,000 machine to do it. "Here's a $49 door-mounted pullup/dip station and a dumbell; there's a hill out back."

I've actually seen this thing up close. There are 2 studios in town that offer workouts on it. One is a Chiropractors office the other is just a studio with this thing in it. The chiro charges $45 for a 4 minute workout, I think. Insane

Four minutes of Thrusters alternated with Chinups will convince nearly anyone intelligent that they could accomplish far more with far less.

Reminds me of the IT that Mr. Garrison invented on South Park.

On the plus side, I think it's supposed to be a Tabata machine. That's pretty cool. Then again, $14k is a bit much.

Looks like a lot of fun. I'd have to get a team of NASA engineers to come put it together and show me how to use it.

"The ROM at $14,615 is less expensive per workout than any of the following:
a treadmill, free weights, a 30 minute walk outside, a visit to any health club, a workout with free weights at home, an aerobics class, you name it. Nothing is less expensive than a 4 minute highly effective workout on the ROM."

Where are they walking? In and out of Disney World? Are these solid gold dumbbells? I mean with such an iron clad arguement I am ready to go get my CC and order 5 of them...
