Picture of Tendonosis? take a look at inflammation

Does this look consistent with inner elbow Tendonoisis? Did not notice the inflammation until I talked with Steven Low. His advice has taken away some pain and started me on the right track to rehabilitation. Just wondering if anyone else on here has a similar experience from what they see in the picture.

Not really. More like a severe ligament or tendon sprain/strain considering the bruising.

On the plus side, both strains, tendinosis, an chronic strains tend to response well to slow controlled eccentrics.... so you're on the right track with rehab.

It's weird that it's bruised like that though

Went to see a doctor and he said golfers elbow and right away offered me a cortisone shot. I respectfully declined. Felt like I was rushed in and out tho.

I don't know how it happened. Changed my grip in golf over the summer and was doing a lot of PR in all my lifts. One day I noticed it hurt to flush a toilet. Thought it was just a sprain, cut I was wrong. Worked through it for a couple months before I come to my senses.

I would consider getting another examination from a different doctor. Consider proper rehab for 3-4wks, and follow with an MRI if nothing improves. My guess would be a torn(partial or more) of a ligament or tendon.

Rehab may still be the answer after that, prior to deciding of surgery is the next option.

It's not as bruised today after two days rest from rehab. Is it possible the swelling or bruising is from the rehab eccentric sets of 30 of 5 pounds
