The snow has finally melted in NJ and I got outside yesterday to cut down some dead trees on my property for the woodstove. I thought I would turn this into a GPP workout. First I cut some trees into 5-6' lengths. Then I made many trips carrying the logs in different fashions to my yard. Some I carried across my shoulders, others one under each arm, a couple in the overhead position and carried them about 250-300'. Then I cut up a few large downed trees at the back of my property and pushed a loaded wheelbarrow through the woods and across a grassy field for about 500'. I did about 4 loads and it was quite taxing. I sure feel the after effects today. It was awesome.
