November: Thruster Challenge

starting in November:

(4 weeks) 3x's a week (9,15,21 reps) #65,#95,#115,#135 (#45,#65,#75,#95)

This schedule means that on the first Monday you will do 9 #65 reps, then 15 #65 reps on Wednesday, and then 21 #65 reps on Friday. the following week you do the same rep schedule but with an increased weight of #95 and the following weeks proceed with #115 & followed by #135.

*feel free to scale the weight down or up for your needs. the main thing is to complete the rep scheme 3x's a week with an increasing load every week.

I did this last year, too. Not only was it fun, but I made all sorts of improvements that really carried over to all aspects of CrossFitting.

that is definitely the goal, but hopefully you pick a heavy enough weight progression that by week 4 you have to break them up. from challenges in the past it seems like the thruster is as much skill & technique based as it is strength & endurance. so you might be surprised by week 4 what your capable of.

I'm in, really liking the look of this challenge. Be really interesting to see if I can manage the 21 on the last one, pretty certain I can get the 15. Got to convert it to kg's so:
30kg, 45kg, 52.5kg, 62.5kg are my numbers to go for.
