Valhalla 2009

I completed Valhalla in 2007, i was in training to come to BUD/s in 2008, i completed that goal, and pay a huge credit and debt to Crossfit for this. My time here at the Center has shown me one more thing i never realized, the compassion and brotherhood of this fraternity, in homage to all those whom i know that have seen their Teamates pass, who is up to do Valhalla again, the workout with all the Hero's workouts stacked one on top of the other? It has changed now, it will be ALL of them, and now....there are a lot.

Re: Valhalla 2009

I admire your desire to do this as a tribute to these fallen heroes, but I have to say it is way too much work for a day. The addition of Mr. Joshua has made considering Valhalla downright dangerous. I don't think any of the heroes would want you to get injured in an attempt to honor them.

This was a scary, but doable tribute last year.

Re: Valhalla 2009

I did these over the course of a week the week of September 11... it would be difficult, stupid even to do it in two days, but I'm game. Hell Week will be worse, anyways, if I end up getting selected there. When are you planning on doing this?

Re: Valhalla 2009

With 15 workouts total 2 days sounds reasonable.

Maybe an open start time, beginning at Midnight on a Friday with cutoff being Sunday at Midnight.

OR

You could make it for MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND. Open start beginning Friday Midnight with cutoff being Monday at Midnight. That might be more doable, with 5 WODs per day.
