Fitday users check here.
I found this website (wfs): http://www.dietfacts.com/list.asp which allows you to export the information for a lot of major brands of foods (say Breyer's All Natural Vanilla Ice Cream which has come up in another part of the forums) to (wfs) http://www.fitday.com.
Might be useful to someone so I thought I would share it! You can export up to 15 brand items per day for free. |

Re: thank you
Sweet. Go "Breyer's at night" diet!!! Heh. By the way, I'm down another 3 lbs since I started that back up again, finally got a natural (aka didn't just get over the flu) weight of under 160 lbs.

I bought some due to you reminding me how much I really like it. Going to do 1/2 a cup a night as my casein protein fix.

Re: Fitday users check here.
Since this topic was brought up, I am wondering how many people out there may be interested in a Mac program similar to FitDay. In my spare time I've been in the design stage of a fitness/diet tracking program for the Mac, but I don't really know if there is a market out there for such software. All of the software for the Mac has a horrible interface, isn't user friendly, and needs a lot of refinement. Another option is designing something specifically with CrossFit's philosophy in mind. Any ideas or suggestion would be helpful. Maybe things that people may want to see in a piece of CrossFit software. Who knows. (Maybe this should be it's own thread.)
Anyway, sorry for the jabbering. |

Re: Fitday users check here.
Jericho,
Yes! I would. A database, or tracking system, or meal calculator would be great. I, for one, would enjoy a program for my Mac which is catered to the Zone. Perhaps something simple which allows you to enter measured food quantities, and nutrition labels, then tells you if you are in the Zone or not. If its ideas your looking for. I would take the database of Protein/Carbs/Fats that the Zone recommends. As a used enters in his block value, and his protein/carb/ and fat choice (or choices), it spits out a measurement of how much is needed to be in the zone. I'd give you more ideas, but I think I've hijacked the thread long enough. |
