I just went to the main site to find the link to the Performance Menu and noticed it's gone. Then I noticed there's no longer a link to Crossfit Norcal. I thought it was an error, but then I saw Crossfit Norcal has a statement on their site stating they are no longer an affiliate.

What's going on here? Is this similar to what happened with Mark Twight and his Gym Jones?

I know that Robb and Greg Everett have started their own blog over at Performance Menu.

They no longer come on this site. Not sure exactly what happened...But something occured for them to abandon this site.

Seems as if Dr. G and Dan John got fed up as well and left.

They were all great resources on here.

http://www.norcalsc.com/ is the new website. The blog site http://www.norcalsc.blogspot.com/ links to crossfit and has pictures of them hanging out with Eva T. so it doesn't seem that there has been the same kind of falling out like there was with Mark, but I can't find anything that says why they are no longer an affiliate.

I find it interesting that on their site, their approach to fitness is not attributed to Crossfit (as I think it was in the past), but now someone from Dynamax....but it looks the same list of principles.

Not sure what happened...but Rob and Greg were both valuable resources, they will be missed.

Actually, if you look at the CF "What is Fitness" article closely, you will see that the ten general physical skills are attributed to Dynamax there as well. And here it is on the Dynamax site itself: http://www.medicineballs.com/train/general.pdf

Yael...yes you are correct, I always assumed it was a Crossfit philosophy, my bad...I will put myself in timeout later.

Aimee, thanks for the link. Didn't mean to imply last rites....I will check it out over there as well.

So can anyone explain what it means to
no longer be affilated with Crossfit?

Are they going their own way from a
philosophical standpoint, or what?
