Dislocated rib against sternum doing MU's?!?

I just dislocated a rib against my sternum while doing MU's/ring dips.

You can see the small round rib head bump on my chest. Shallow breaths only and the cartlidge "clicks" when I breathe. You can imagine what happens when I sneeze/laugh/cough!

Saw my chiro yesterday with no success. Tried stretching, foam roller, lacrosse ball, ice, ibu, muscle relaxers. Nada. I'm considering a hammer!

Anyone experienced this or have any insight?

Sorry to hear that Dave. What was the rep scheme / workout you were doing when it happened?

Best for recovery,

Justin
