Rogue Rings or Elite EXF Rings?

Debating whether or not to purchase Rogue or Elite Rings. Leaning towards the Elite but unsure how sturdy they are. It seems as if the rubber 1/3 would get chewed up pretty quickly. Any thoughts, experiences, or suggestions?

Thanks.

I would definitely go with the wooden Rogue rings. They are far better than any of the others I've used.

Re: Rogue Rings or Elite EXF Rings?

I've got a pair of elites and a pair of the rogue rings (not the wood rings). Definitely go with the Rogue rings. The clasp on the strap of the Rogue rings is much easier to work with, and they seem to be of much better quality. Of course, my elites are 2 years old and have held up just fine.

Rogue wood rings all the way.
I've got a pair, great grip, great straps. Easy to adjust.
I brought them into my affiliate and everyone chooses them over other ones we have.
They are a bit more expensive, but may as well do it right the first time!

Another vote for the wooden rings here.

I prefer and own the wooden from Rogue. I also own the typical black ones a lot of affiiliates have (Garage Gym Store sells them, too) and use the EXF rings at my affiliate.

Re: Rogue Rings or Elite EXF Rings?

I like the rogue wood rings best, but think i prefer the straps on the exf rings. The rubber grip feels like it will hold up fine, but seems unnecessary. I own 2 pairs of rogue wood rings and one pair of exf rings, I have not tried the rogue metal rings so can't comment on them.

Re: Rogue Rings or Elite EXF Rings?

As I have said before, Rogue rings if you're gonna be inside and GymnasticBodies rings if you are going to be outside. Wood and water is not a good idea though you could just seal them but that makes chalking them and their grip funny.

I don't care much for the fancy gripping material on the EXF and it wears out. However, they are lighter if you really just need some ultralight rings (even the black synthetic ones have some weight to them). Trivial, IMO.
