Good deal for climbing rope and rings?

So I found this post on craigslist (wfs) in the Philadelphia area that is a school selling barely used gymnastics equipment.

I am unfortunately only able to be interested in the rings and possibly a climbing rope at this time since I'm a college student in an apartment.

The brand is American Athletic which appears to be very good.

My ? is: considering that I would have to get the stuff shipped to me (near Pgh) would it even be worth it? And, if it is, what is a good deal for a climbing rope and gymastics rings? I don't know any specifics yet, as I just called and left a msg.....they may not even have the stuff anymore...
