Can your feet leave the ground on push press?

I thought the only difference between the PPress and PJerk was landing with straight or bent knees respectively. All starting position is the same, dip drive through heels. I checked some videos, but couldn't find anything definitive. I also checked some videos, and I see some people feet down, some feet come off.

A push press is a dip and a drive. A jerk is a dip, a drive and a rebend to catch.

Ideally your feet won't leave the ground as they would when you reposition them for a snatch, jerk, or clean. However, it is okay to rise up onto your toes, as that is a natural reaction to a good hip extension/"jump," athough ideally you would want to remain as flatfooted as possible.
There is no substitute for strength, and no excuse for the lack of it.
