Beat The Streets
The Official Beat the Steets Workout
Complete the following as a team of 2, alternating back and forth between partners each round.

10 rounds per team for time.

One round equals 5 sets of:

1 Deadlift (@ 105#)
1 Clean (@ 45#)
1 Shoulder Press (@45#)
1 Burpee

Each round is finished with a 200m run.

In order for Partner B to start, Partner A must finish the run and tap Partner B.

Our team finished 38:23 -- so ~19:11 per person.

God I felt awful, hah. Almost puked. Hmm... Laid down in between sets, which helped. Then laid down for a good 35 minutes after I was finished. I think pushing through this workout cured me of my stomach bug I have had for the last 2 days.

Feels so good to be back at it

I feel like this guy right now hah --->
That looks brutal, yay for team workouts !!! <===== you

Comparing it to the other time it seems bad. But, I was happy with it. +10lbs, baby. One step closer to Rx'd.

Awesome Sam! Adding 10 pounds makes a huge difference with 'Grace.' I know my time went up a few minutes when I went from 75 to 85. I'll have to wait until next Sunday to see what happens to my time when I go from 85 to 95...should be interesting. My goal is to do 'Man Grace' by next year. You're a beast! Congratulations on your 'Grace'!

Hope you're mom gets better very quickly and comes home soon. Let me know if you need anything.

I'm not sure which was worse...

The beat the streets workout, or 6 hours of gardening with my wife.

I'm about 90% paleo. I still have some vices I'm slowly getting rid of (ie - Milk).

I figured I'd do it in stages because my diet was atrocious before. It kind of helps to have everyone in my ear nutrition wise. If I just changed my lifestyle cold turkey, I don't think I would have been successful.

I stick to the Primal Blueprint -- If Mark Sisson'll eat it, so will I! Hah, so that way I can have aged cheeses, dark chocolate, red wine, and organic butter if I so choose. Generally I'm pretty freakin' Paleo. And I've just started consuming less. IFing. I feel better... and I don't think about it any more. And I don't weigh myself. And yeah, I got my kipping pull ups back.

Forgot to mention: kipping pull ups like crazy today and got 2 without leaving the bar. Yeyah

oh, DeLuca... nice picture

I'm slowly becoming a disciple of Mark. And I love fasting. I tend to be more focused at work in the middle of an 16 hour fast.

I'm going to increase to 3 times per week.

A pretty good photographer took this nice action shot. I photoshopped some muscles on there too.
