I'm thinking about buying a door pull up bar and was wondering what everyone thought of them.

I bought one way back in the day(about $25 at SportChek), and just bought one last christmas for my little sister at Canadian Tire.

I have mine set up in the door of my dorm room. I don't use it quite as much as I should, but it's always there, reminding me.

Just make sure the door frame and surrounding wall are strong enough to hold it up and you should be good to go.

We bought one called a 'Door Gym' a couple months ago. Its held up to very heavy use by 4 people remarkably well. You can also use it for push-ups if you want.
