Some of you will appreciate this.

Remember, he also did a 1:41 Grace about an hour after winning nationals, in jeans and combat boots, directly after snubbing out his cigarette.

Wow, very nice! That guy is really fast under the bar. Do you know if California strength ever does classes or workshops? I live about an hour away and would love to get some coaching from them.

Not trying to steal Donny's thunder, that is an awesome lift, but I figure it fits the thread, Kendrick Farris clean and jerks 211 kg/464 pounds as an 85kg/187 pound lifter (not sure what he weighs in training):

That's 6 kilos over the american record (Kendrick's), and I believe 7 kilos off the world record. When I googled the records, it came back at 215, but I thought it was 218 for the 85s.

Kendrick is making nice slow perfect progress. He has a very good chance, all things being equal, being the first american male in nearly 30 years to medal at the Olympic games. That would be fantastic!

All the best,
Arden

Fantastic work. Congratulations Glenn. I follow your blog and know you've had him on a pretty tough training routine, and he was pretty beat up on that snatch. Can't wait to see what he's able to do fully recovered for a competition.
