Re: Crossfit Car?

I would say the neww Audi R8 with the 6.5 liter diesel. It looks sweet, which corssfitters end doing. It has 500 hp and 738 lbs of torque, which would be strength and power. It get 23 mpg, which considering the above power pretty good endurance. All wheel drive and stability control, which gives us agility and balance.

Re: Crossfit Car?

I agree with the above folks in saying that it wouldn't be a car.
It'd be an Italian v-twin, pushrod, air-cooled motorcycle.

It isn't gonna be a sprinter that leaves your wrists in pain after a couple hours in the saddle, or an overweight cruiser that is all show and no go. It'd be a great all-rounder with an excellent riding position, with just enough speed to keep a smile on your face and have cat-like agility in the corners. You can even put on panniers for long distance travel.

Re: Crossfit Car?

I'd have to go with one of the Audi or BMW sedans with 4wd. Fast, agile, powerful, 4wd.

Or in the spirit of the Hi-lux, with my favorites, Land Cruisers...
My rental Bushcamper(78 series) on Fraser Island...

My FJ40(a bit too specialist to be CF, but so am I)

Boo! Recumbent scooters are like recumbent bikes - and we left all those things at the local Globo when the Affiliate opened its doors! Great if you want to let the machine do the work and just sit there to watch the scenery go by. But I thought CFers wanted to take a more active part in the things do... like use a clutch, upshift and downshift when THEY want to, not when the machine thinks it is a good idea. :stir:

PS: just pulling your chain... but if you are gonna go the scooter route, at least go with something like the Piaggio MP3! I mean, we are just a bit different than anyone else, right?!

Re: Crossfit Car?

Porsche Cayenne.

I'm a huge fan of the sports sedan, the R8, etc., and not much of an SUV guy. But none of them would do you much good off-road.

Hey now that looks more CF!!

Funny- I did the WOD at the local Y, went out and was getting on my bike and a guy came up to me and said "I knew there was something different about you when I saw you in the gym, now I see what it is."
Lol "something different". Yeah!
