![]() I usually use a tabata style warm up each time. Go hard 30 sec or 1min on 6- 8 different excersises. 1min break and repeat 3 times.
Eg 1min Box jumps 1min Speed boxing on bag 1 min Deep squats. 1 min Pushups 1 Min Situps. 1 min Skipping 1 min rest then repeat. I like variety and its been said before your body will get used to a warm up. If performed everyday. Nothinig should be easy, challenge yourself every day. ![]() |

Katherine, it's also a mental thing. I've had gymnasts, myself, and my dad talk about if their warmup and preparatory stuff for a workout or competition was not done pretty much the same time, every time, that they were off their game.
Many athletes are like that. Yes, it reeks of OCD but it's also just a habit of training a particular fashion. |
