Hi guys,

I have a question regarding milk. Being brought up in Eastern Europe we ate a lot of Dairy products and potatos.

Im incoporating the Paleo diet into my routine and trying to get off the dairy staff, however I take Whey Protein and mix it up with milk because mixing it with water tastes horrible.

If you guys take whey protein what should you mix it with if not milk?

Cheers

I just use water now. I dropped dairy a few weeks ago. I got used to drinking gross things though. Try raw eggs and olive oil. :-)

That sounds pretty bad. I mix whey protein in orange juice or any similar juice. Not apple or grape juices. Carrot juice works well too. Sometimes I mix it in with rice milk.
Oil...I think that would make me gag.

Often though I'll drink it just in water. Some versions of whey powder mix it will into a shakey like substance. Isopure is different though.

Orange juice -- with a raw egg, greens supplement, flax oil, and some other goodies. In the end it kind of tastes like what I describe as a "mossy Orange Julius." I used to put raw whole milk in, and still do but only for a day or two at a time, not every day, due to a lifelong milk allergy.

Yes you can Jason. I haven't yet though. I'm not sure I will either. I've been drinking raw eggs for about 3 months now.

I've been eating raw eggs since I was a little kid - we used to make our own homemade egg nog every Christmas! Haven't ever gotten sick from it.
