How are you doing? What type of training are you doing for the MQ? I need some training partners. The youngersters in the gym are in the AM during my work. |

Holleyman 30 rounds for time: 5 Wall balls 3 HSPU 1 Power Clean 102k - 21.09 PB Doing 111k power cleans in the MQ made this much easier. 2.20 PB. Pity the MQ was made for olympic lifters that skip this year. |

Right now getting stronger and trying to solve my huge issue with the snatch. Anything over 135lb just turns pure ugly as I have a problem finishing my pull from anything lower than the high hang.
I'm still going for it next year for the games in my last year of 45-49. Two years is too long to wait around with my goals, it's a lot harder to get there now than it is to compete there seeing as we have a lot of people qualifying undeservedly. This year I have the qualifiers for a German competition and the Cyprus Throwdown which is on a beach. Great for location but sadly I think they may use the sea. |

The snatch... I had that ugly form.. still masters oly but gets better each month. Mobility, accessory work, only accepting good reps. If it gets ugly I drop weight and go back up. My accuracy is up thus making my efficiency up as well.
Yes 2 years is a while to try and stay idle. The top 20 is stacked with great athletes as well as some rather questionable ones. |

Have either of you used the ’Iron Path Pro’ app?
I use it in my iPad and it really helps to see what is going on. I might only have a PR of 76kgs but my technique is good and solid. The app makes it easy to see what is going on. |

I actually have to put two thick knee wraps down my shorts to even attempt to finish my pull, my arms are long and I can't go too wide without niggling my shoulder, the snatch is a total nightmare for me. Unless its 135lb or less then I can muscle them
