New Crossfit gym in GA!

Well, we have finally gotten Sonz Buford (an affiliate) up and running!! I'm one of the trainers there, and we are having a soft openning this month and a Grand Openning in a couple of weeks. Anyone in the area come check up out! The owner is Laurie Farmer. We are also looking for anyone looking to become a trainer.

thats awesome...of course after I have moved from georgia there would be a million CF gyms opening up. What do you mean by "anyone looking to become a trainer"? Are you looking for people that are already certified to train or someone that would like to become a trainer?

Both! I am currently NASM certified and will be attending the GA cert in Feb., but I have been doing Xfit for the past 6 mo. I don't think it matters so much what nat'l certification you have, as long as the insurance company recognizes it (i.e. ACE, NASM, AAFA, ISSA, etc.). I do know that Laurie wants all the trainers to go through the xfit cert if they haven't already done so.

What flash application are you using for the video on your landing page? Also, what program? That's really neat.

I'm not really sure. The homepage is run by Sonz HQ (Sonz has 5 Xfit affiliates), so they do all our webpage stuff. I'll ask, though.

Im not certified at the moment but I have been reading up on "The Essentials of Strength Training and Conditioning", and I have been training a few friends in CrossFit and have been doing it myself for about 10 months now. I'm trying to get to a CF cert. but they sell out so quick and I havent seen any new ones posted in a while. Anyway I was just curious, I may be moving back to Atlanta soon and Im trying to find a way to jumpstart a training career.
