also spin, wind, temp, humidity if we're getting picky

but yes, speed is direction proportional to power and distance

Well yeah, those things too, but I assumed similar conditions for all throwers which will be the case unless a gust of wind pops up or someone throws a sinker with a lot of topspin or something.

"O'Diesel"...you are such a joke. Literally every post on the forums from you is a bash against CrossFit and Glassman. Yet YOU DO CROSSFIT. Could you be any more ungrateful?

Funny, have you ever met him? Or do you merely take the word of those on teh interwebz?

I dunno, maybe if you spent more time listening to the stuff that he has put out there and less time pretending that you know more about "your body" than everyone else, maybe you still wouldn't be fat and out of shape. I know that's mean, but I'm calling a spade a spade here. You've been on this forum for how long now? 2+ years? Even back when you first came on here you basically told me to pound sand when I tried to help you because you "know your body." And that's fine, everyone takes a little while to accept this stuff. But you still consistantly refuse to listen to people who have been EXACTLY where you are...and now you're bitter because you aren't even a contender at the puppy level after like 2 years of CrossFit. Get over yourself and your ego.

BTW, Annie Sakamoto is one of Glassman's original firebreathers...she seems to be holding her own out there so far. Oh, speaking of that, is there any workout that you can do faster (with the female weight mind you) than she could 5-7 years ago? No. Maybe...just maybe...Glassman isn't a stupid as you would like to believe. You constantly complain in your workout log about "being out of shape," well maybe you should look at the people who are in better shape than you (read: EVERYONE who trained with Glassman back in the day) and give it a fair shake instead of bashing someone you have never met. Just sayin'...

Sorry for the rant everyone. Mods, I'm aware that I disobeyed the AUP and am standing by for my lashings...Yes, I should've sent this through PM, but this ungrateful clown is on my last nerve and I'm willing to bet that I'm not that only one.

Re: CF Games 2011 General Thread

Michelle Kinney looks like she just took a pretty commanding lead on this for the women.

I think Kinney will be winning for the girls, she beat most of the other competitors by a lot, she woulda beat some of the men too.

Re: CF Games 2011 General Thread

Jessica Pamanian had a nice throw in this heat, I don't know if she beat Kinney though she looked like she was throwing kind of flat.

Seriously. My wife can throw a football further.

Kinney and Pamanian threw bombs though. Nice job ladies.
