Faith's Log

After the opening week of CrossFit Ventura, I have made some unbelievable progress. It just goes to show what great training, an amazing facility, and the CrossFit community can do to motivate you. This week, I was able to achieve my first double-under and pull-up, and got PRs on Annie, Barbara, and Cindy. I feel so on track in terms of my WODs, but one thing I've been struggling with for a while is the Zone.

Since I was able to achieve some goals I set for the summer, I'll be working on these new ones and reevaluating in December:

-50 repeated double-unders
-15 pull-ups
-1 handstand pushup
-15 dips
-1 muscle-up
-down to 21% BF (not exactly sure where I am right now...probably around 25% with hydrostatic weighing)
-strict zone with no cheat meals for first two weeks, then maybe one or two every week from then

I am beginning this log to keep me on track and hold me accountable. It'll include diet and WOD, and if I have extra time, how I was feeling for both. Any feedback is welcomed and really appreciated! =)

10:00am: 1/4 Chicken Patty, 1/2 Cup Grapes, 3 Almonds
1:00pm: LC Steak Tips Portobello w/ Broccoli, 6 Almonds
3 Blocks

3:00pm: 1 Cup Endamame, 6 Almonds
4:30pm: 1/2 Chicken Patty, 1 Cup Tomatoes, 3 Almonds
2 Blocks

7:30pm: 1/2 Egg White Salad, 1/2 Apple, 3 Almonds
1 Block

Shoulder Press: 5-5-5-5-5

Looking good on your Zone. It is great to have someone like Bill to help and support you. Remember the leaner you eat the leaner you get.

I will do everything I can to help you achieve all of your goals and then some.
